LiTS Log Scaling & Buying (package com.lits.nativebuyingfree) keeps your log-buying records on your device and shows ads from Google AdMob. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have.
The app is published by LiTS, LLC dba LiTS Technology Solutions ("we", "us"). By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.
We do not run a server for this app, and we do not receive your log-buying records. Everything you enter stays on your device unless you choose to share it.
| Information | Examples | Where it is kept | Sent to us? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Load and tally records | Log species, grade, diameter, length, volume, notes, submit dates | App database on your device | No |
| Business contacts you enter | Vendor, logger, handler and tract names | App storage on your device | No |
| App settings | Your initials, scale rules, species and grade lists, preferences | Encrypted app preferences and files on your device | No |
| Advertising data | Advertising ID, IP address, device and app details | Collected by Google AdMob (see Advertising) | No, sent to Google |
The app does not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos or GPS location.
The free edition uses Google AdMob to show full-screen and rewarded video ads. Ads appear about every 10 scaled logs, when you open an overview or print a report, after 10 minutes without an ad, and when you choose to watch a rewarded ad.
To serve and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect:
Your device's advertising ID
IP address and approximate location derived from it
Device model, operating system, language and app version
Ad interactions, such as views and taps, plus crash and performance diagnostics
Google may use this data to show personalized ads. Google handles it under the Google Privacy Policy and explains it in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Your choices:
Reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings > Privacy > Ads (Settings > Google > Ads on older devices).
Turn off personalized ads at My Ad Center.
We never send your load records, contacts or settings to Google or any other ad network.
| Permission | Why the app requests it |
|---|---|
| Internet | Load ads and open the LiTS website link |
| Network state | Check for a connection before loading ads |
| Phone state | Requested for device compatibility; the app does not read your phone number, call details or device IMEI |
| Storage (write) | Save report and export files on older Android versions |
| Notifications | Show app status notifications |
| Foreground service | Keep scanner or scale work running while the app is in use |
Use. Your records are used only to run the app: tallying logs, calculating volume, and building load reports.
Sharing. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone. It leaves your device only when:
You print a report through Android's print service.
You use Export Data and pick an app (email, cloud storage, messaging) to send the CSV file to. That app's own privacy policy applies from then on.
Google AdMob collects advertising data as described above.
Android backs up app data to your Google account, if you have device backup turned on.
Retention and deletion. Records stay on your device until you delete them in the app, clear the app's data in Android Settings, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling removes all app data from the device. We hold no copy, so we cannot recover deleted data.
The app is a business tool for log buyers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
App settings are stored encrypted, and all records stay in the app's private storage, which other apps cannot read. No method of storage is fully secure, so keep your device locked and up to date.
Because your records live only on your device, you can view, correct, export or delete them yourself at any time in the app. For data Google collects through ads, use the controls under Advertising or contact Google.
We may update this policy when the app changes. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
